11月1日朝の積雪状況は、燕山荘周辺、5～10㎝、大天荘周辺、10～15㎝程積もりました。
装備については、スニーカーは危険ですのでおやめ下さい。現在の積雪状況の場合、燕山荘までは、アイゼンよりチェーンアイゼンの方が有効かと思います。固い靴ならチェーンアイゼンなしでもいいかと思いますが、多くの方が歩かれると雪面はすべるかもしれません。
大天井岳まで縦走予定される方は、６本歯以上のアイゼンと積雪に耐える登山靴の携行をお願い致します。スニーカー等でのお越しは危険です。バランスを取る道具として、ストック2本もしくはピッケルの持参もお薦め致します。大天荘にテント泊予定の方は、厳冬期並みの装備を準備されてちょうどいいぐらいかもしれません。テントは雪の上に張ることになります。

Snow Conditions and Equipment on the Morning of November 1st
Around Enzanso: 5–10 cm; Around Daitenso: 10–15 cm of snow has accumulated.
Regarding equipment, please refrain from wearing sneakers or similar footwear. Given the current snow conditions, chain crampons are likely more effective than standard crampons for the route to Enzanso. Sturdy boots might suffice without chain crampons, but the snow surface may become slippery as more people walk on it.
Those planning to traverse to Mt.Otenshodake should carry crampons with at least six points and mountaineering boots capable of withstanding deep snow. Arriving in sneakers or similar footwear is dangerous. We also recommend bringing two trekking poles or an ice axe as balance aids. Those planning to camp at Daitenso should prepare gear suitable for severe winter conditions. Tents will need to be pitched directly on the snow.
